You have seen me post little glimpses into our home this fall with my recent posts, but this is the full shebang. When designing my home this fall, I knew I wanted to go neutral. This is a new home for us this year, which we moved into back in March. This home is much different than our last and has a very open floor plan as far as the living spaces go. This served to be a challenge, as I knew whichever design plan I went with, it all had to flow together from room to room. It all started with a little inspired project late one night that involved a tobacco basket and some greenery.
I found the tobacco basket at the vintage market days of north east Georgia while visiting family, while we were evacuated due to hurricane Irma (of all things to buy during an evacuation!). I instantly knew I wanted to use the tobacco basket in a non traditional way and turn it on its side at an angle for interest and to make a big statement in the room, since the fireplace wall was the focal point after all. I attached garland greenery found at hobby lobby to the rim of the basket only using green floral wire. It was super simple to add and even easier to take off after the season is over. Add in a few flowers, a pumpkin and some antlers and you have yourself a beautiful fall mantle!
You can take a look at more of the details of my fall mantle HERE.
In the entry, I chose to place one of my husband's hand built benches along our DIY board and batten walls. I kept the theme again, neutral and added warmth using this perfect fall pillow
from Linen and Ivory along with a faux fur throw.

The table scape was another fun decorating project. Just using neutral pumpkins, greenery and a felt ball garland, this centerpiece was easy and very affordable to create. You can see step by step how I created this centerpiece HERE.
The rest of the living area, I just kept simple and neutral, mainly just focusing on the greenery touches to bring in a light and airy fall feel.
Lastly, although Halloween is now over, I wanted to add in a view to the other end of my entryway where I hung my DIY Halloween "Trick" & "Treat" Banners which you can find the tutorial on HERE.

Happy Fall!
